Neuro-Plasticity and Feldenkrais Somatic Learning Principles in the 21st century.

Exemplified by Movement Intelligence a program created by Ruthy Alon. Gretchen Langner gave an illuminating and electrifying talk on Neuro-Plasticity the newly popularized concept spoken about in Norman Doidge's new book 'The Brain's Way of Healing'.

Gretchen Langner, a Feldenkrais Practitioner and Movement Intelligence Trainer, lives and practices in Portland Maine.
Illustrating her talk with physical examples of short processes, she gave the attendees the experience of Neuro-Plasticity. They experienced  changes in sensation and perception through somatic learning. There was a sense of excitement finally to be able to understand the theoretical as felt in their own bodies and minds.

A question and answer period followed Gretchen's talk generating much interest in The Movement Intelligence Program to be presented this summer in July at the UNE Biddeford Campus. Ruthy Alon will be teaching a 10 day Seminar on Movement Solutions for Maximum Mobility. Gretchen Langner will be coordinating the program.
